What are you working on, crafting and embroidery friends? I’m finally making my way back around to this piece and even using my stand for a change. It makes such a difference to have both hands free while stitching!

A still of this updated piece (I added extra details behind the monarch to anchor it a bit better), and some extra pops of red to move the eye throughout the composition. The technical stuff makes a difference.

A mix of new projects and old. Also, more backyard friends—another squirreling dropping in and then one of my favorite birds, the tufted titmouse (kids and I did a bird study a couple years back and this was the first one we identified!) 🧶🐿️🐦

Hey embroidery friends! What are you working on these days? I’ve been busy with regular life but I’m popping in to share this robin again, because he’s had a few small updates since the last time I shared him. I added some lavender and a bit more definition to the leaves and I can’t quite remember what else, but I’m much happier with him now. (Setting a dangerous precedent. Maybe I need to go back and fix ALL of them 🤣).
